Palettes

Pick a scheme. Get Delica codes.

Start from a color on the wheel, or from a pattern you are already making. Choose a scheme and how many colors, and each one comes back as a bead you can order: the code, the name, and how close the bead is to the color you asked for.

Shared palettes

A shared palette is a list of beads.

Browse what other makers have shared by color family, brand and size. Use one to start a pattern, or save a copy and change it. Share your own from its menu, with your name on it, and take it back whenever you like.

Honest about the match

A screen color can sit between two beads or have none near it. Each swatch keeps the color it asked for in its corner and says Close match, Near match or Not close, and shows the six nearest beads to swap in.

Beads you own first

With your stash recorded, the workspace can prefer beads you already have, and reaches for the catalog only when nothing on hand is close. Turn it off and it searches the whole line.

From the pattern in front of you

Pick a color out of a project and the palette is built on that project's bead line, so it goes straight back into the pattern. Lock the beads you like and shuffle the rest.
